[FaD Courtesy Thread]The Downs and Ups of the FaD Boards

It is hoped that this thread will give both us and crunchers from other teams who use the FaD BOARDS an easy-to-find place for a quick check when they suspect the FaD boards are DOWN. Also a place for FaD crunchers to post useful information - such as when the FaD boards are likely to be up again - i.e. some sort of little home-from-home when the FaD boards are down.

Naturally it will to a large exent depend on voluntary input from those of us who frequently visit the FaD boards AND those who normally consider the FaD Boards as home, but are also frequent visitors here.

If it's to be a reliable source of information, anybody who posts when the boards are down, should preferably also post when they go up again !

LOL. I had just posted the above info on the FaD boards, went back to edit in the final fullstop...No go, boards were down.

Guess we should stick strictly to GMT/UTC though Tank - otherwise Vester will start chipping in with South Carolina Mountain time or something...and I dread to think of Oregon time ("two hours after the first breakfast belch").

When the FaD boards get up again - tomorrow night or the night after, whenever it is - if you think it will save some suffering and anguish, feel free to move the post I made about the existence of this thread to somewhere more prominent on the Boards, where even the shy and bashful with their short and curlies can see it.

Edit: Don't be fooled by the legend on the boards that "All time are GMT + 1 hour". They are NOT !!! The times shown are in fact GMT + 2 hours. (I pointed it out several times when I was younger, but Mntsow likes it that way cos it makes the days go faster...)
