What do you guy think of this site?

I'm wanting a replacement for pop access service with outlook express. Instructions are here.
http://www.fastmail.fm/docs/imap/imap-oe.html
It talks about IMAP. What the heck is that?

Note: Guest users do not have access to the fastmail.fm SMTP server. Member, Full and Enhanced users do have access to the fastmail.fm SMTP server, so the following does not apply. Guest users should instead set the 'Outgoing mail (SMTP)' field to your ISP's SMTP server. You should be able to find this information in your ISP's documentation, we don't have the information, so please don't email us asking what it is. Also, depending on the strictness of your ISP, you may also need to set the 'E-mail Address' field in step 8 below to your ISP's email address. The only way to be sure of if this is required or not is to try and send an email, and if you get an error, try again after changing to your ISP's email address. Finally, you should make sure that the 'My server requires authentication' checkbox displayed in step 9 below is NOT checked.

It talks about IMAP. What the heck is that? Click Me! (http://searchwebmanagement.techtarget.com/sDefinition/0,,sid27_gci214022,00.html)

If you look here (http://www.fastmail.fm/docs/pricingtbl.html), you will notice that if you want a free account with this FastMail it will be considered a "Guest Account". Therefore, when following the directions on the link you provided pay attention to the directions it gives for a "Guest Account".

When they talk about your ISP's incoming and outgoing servers, just call your ISP for that information if you don't already know it (i.e. mine is "pop-server.(my city).rr.com" for incoming and "smtp-server.(my city).rr.com" for outgoing).
