I have my DNS servers set up on my computer. But I can't find where to set them on my router. It was there before I flashed the firmware. Now there is no where to put them in that I can find and it's drawing them from my ISP. I don't want to use my ISP what can I do?
BTW when I ck my ipconfig for the puter it shows them as being the addy I do want to use. But I assume since the router is my gateway that's overriding the puter.. am I close?

You normally set the DNS info in the router setup on the "setup" page of the linksys using 1.42.6 firmware

Why don't you set your DNS through Windows?

I have, it shows up there, but I thought the router would over ride that setting since it's my gateway.

Why does it matter you may ask? Because I can't access this forum with www.xtremepccentral.com

Well, I don't know which has more priority over the DNS setting, Linksys setting or Windows setting. However, I'm assuming they removed that feature Linksys settings since it can be controlled through Windows which kind of makes the setting in the router pointless?
