22 Characters, why not 26?

The custome user text (aka title) under the members name is currently allocating 22 characters for the member.
There is room (based on a first-person view) for up to 26 characters. How hard would it be to go up to 26? Is it possible? I'm just curious.
What limits might prevent us from going past 22 (stop jabbing me in the side TT!) Ok ok. I'm done. :D

22 is what I configured the site for which is more than most sites and why would you need 4 more places? ;)

Xtreme Wireless Fad-a-holic is 27 characters, but I didn't choose that.
The reason I chose 26 is because when I looked at the width of the column, the longest row went 26 characters. I just thought it would be kind of neat. That's all, no harm done (I hope).
