Bulletproof FTP Server with Pipex DSL

Hi Guys,

I have a small problem I wondered if anyone can help me with, I run a small FTP site on my Pipex Broadband connection, I use Bulletproof as an FTP server and I am using a D-Link504 Router.

Ever since I have upgraded to the router from my normal DSL modem, everything still works fine, I can browse out and FTP out to the Internet and people can FTP into my site, however, anyone using the same ISP can only view my directory structure, it will not let the browse the site at will.

Anyone any ides'a what would be causing this and how to get arount it ??

Are you using a Public IP for your ftp server or are you using a private ip ? (ie 192.168.x.xxx)

Have them try passive FTP instead of active. Your ISP may have an ACL that prevents active from working. They will need an actual FTP client like WSFTP to try it.
