BBA - About BattleField 1942 & Road to Rome

Hey BBA: where the heck are the sumbraines? it said in the instruction book you can drive one, I'm up to mid-way right now both as alied and axis troop. and I havn't seen one.
heheh I been playing this since 1845 hrs tonight :D what a blast!

There were sub's in midway. I just loaded up vanilla BF to play with them and I see your point...I couldnt find any.

I think it may be the latest patches for the game have removed them from midway. It must have been by mistake.

It sure has been a long time since I played vanilla BF, so I think I will start playing it again. Desert Combat is pretty good, but the latest version of DC has taken all the fun out of the vehicles and made them noob friendly to the point they are boring and unresponsive.

I hope to be able to pick up secret weapons of war this spring. And where would I find DC? is it retail or a net download? on dail up I sure hate to DL anything other then those 2mb norton SW updates, that takes long enough, Lol i wouldn't even try anything over 10mb, my isp would drop me after an hour thinking I was DLing warzes or god forbid, MP3's or movies

well...DC is almost 600 MB and can only be downloaded.

Hey BBA, I found out last night that the subs can only be found in multiplayer games. I looked though the board at BF 1942 at EA's site.

Try conquest mode, I think they're in that one, Haven't tried deathmatch yet. have never seen them in COOP though.
