2k and 98 drivers were all I could find..
There may not be any.. Bummer
I have the same problem with an HP printer that's only about a year old.. :(

Click Here (http://www.xtremepccentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=457&highlight=Mustek) for a smooth trick NDC has to make those Win2000 drivers compatible with your WinXP installation. Use surreal's link to d/l those Win2k drivers, then follow the directions at link above, and you'll be using your Mustek scanner in WinXP in no TIME! ;)

Have you actually tried it to install HP drivers, Surreal?

That registy hack is only fooling programs or drivers to install. Some programs and drivers will just come to a halt with an error message that the installation cannot continue because you're running Windows XP... However, by temporarily changing the registry key value to Microsoft Windows 2000, you are fooling the program or driver to think the current OS is Windows 2000...
