Automatic Purge of Private Messages Older than 30 days

As of November 15th 2003 XtremePcCentral will start automatically purging any and all PM's older than 30 days.

If you recieve a PM that you want/need to keep the information contain there-in I would suggest copying that information into a text file on your own personal system.

This will allow XPC to maintain a cleaner database which of course will help XPC to maintain a smooth running site.

I just looked at my message tracking to see if madfish got a couple of PM's I sent him a couple of days ago Just to see if they were read but they were gone! Gone I tell ya...;)

Is there a time limit on how long the message tracking folder will hold them?

Truthfully Spyder I think they will get cleared in there if the actual message is cleared during the purges

If I deleted the message out of the sent messages would the tracking still stick?

Because I came back yesterday to check if they were read and they were still there, but they were gone today.

If you deleted the sent message then it should have cleared the tracking I would assume....As for why it was there and then disappeared was probably due to a delay in the db updating your deletion I would assume
