View Full Version : XP 2400 tp MP 2400 on a Tyan S2466-N4

I've tried to mod the XP 2400 to an MP 2400 on a Tyan S2466N4. No joy. I've read around, and the info I find says I only need to connect one of the L5 bridges. I look on the MP 1200's I have, and I also show only 1 of the L5 bridges connected. However, I have been told by friends who have moded XP 1700's that I need to connect all the L5 bridges. Is this true? Also, what is the recomended way to mod the procs? Pics would be helpful :)

Most of the XP2400's you only need to connect the specific L5 bridges but you must follow the second generation XP conversion way, as they put like a lacquer finish over the bridges.
