Dual Monitor Quality

Hi People,

Have taken the trouble to buy an IBM intellistation M Pro with an AGP NVidia Quadro4 580XGL Graphics card. This I intended to connect to two Sony GDM-FW900 Monitors as it is Dual Monitor compatible.

Everything has worked fine but the quality of the second monitor is worse than the primary in that text is reddish and the focus is not quite as sharp....

Any ideas gratefully received.

Swap your video cables and see if the problem follows the cable. I run dual monitors occasionally and never had any problems with clarity or color.

You may need to have the monitors adjusted for proper color/dynamic range/convergence.

If the monitors are in warrenty, that would be a perfectly valid claim and may warrant return.

I would also suspect a good repair shop could do the job for a decent price.
