Pshawn,
Have you noticed any uninitiated net traffic? a few of us have been talking about your issue via ICQ and we would suggest that you kill your net connection on that box and do a full virial and trojan scans.
Also have you been playing with settings? (such as local security policies ect?)
Are you logged in as an Admin with this account? Do you have any other admin accounts on the box? if you log in with a different user with different privs do they see the other tabs?
I have a feeling one of your GUI files have gone south... You may want to try typing SFC /SCANNOW at the DOS prompt...

ok
mntsnow: nope, no unintiated net traffic...did what you said, no viruses came up..
i'm logged in as myself, which has admin rights.. i logged into the account Adminstrator and task manager is perfectly fine there....so i'm little confused.
ndc: did that, nope, same problem.
i dont know if this will help, but i decided to give it a shot anyways...
here's a shot of the processes that are running on the user with the problem
btw: sorry for the big whiteness and all, i'm using microsoft paint and i dont know how to crop and such

Well with you saying that everything comes up clean and the other Admin account see;s it just fine I'm going to bet that you have a corrupted profile..

ok well i created a new profile...
now can anyone tell me what files i need to move over to my new profile.
this is what i want...my inbox files, and address book for outlook express
and my favorites in ie...that's it,so if anyone can be so kind and direct me to the right direction i will be grateful.
I'm wondering if that theme you're using has anything to do with the problem. Try going back to the default theme or classic theme...

I would suggest the same things. try the windows classic theme first...
When I copied over my profiles, I copy EVERYTHING from the C:\Documents and Settings\%username% to the new C:\Documents and Settings\%usernme% folder. I know it's probably overkill, but it works...

pshawn,
after you pointed me to this post I did the same thing to task manager before...
if you double click next to the tabs.. it hides the menu's if you double click in the blank area @ the top it brings them back... took me about 5 minutes to remember how to cause/fix this...
BTW what other problems you having??

umm figured out the problem..
and boy were we wayyyyyyy offf
it was very simple... just double click the top of the box
presto changeo it's back
double click again... it's gone...
hrmm i wonder why microsoft included that...very annoying to me!
thanks for all the help..
Do you mean double clicking on the title bar? That's minimize and maximize window feature... Still mine doesn't look like yours when I do that... It must be because of the theme... Anyhow, glad you're back in biz! ;)
