there was a fire last nite in town...but the news gets worse.

the fire started around 8 pm last nite, i was down the street getting something out of my friend's glove box. i was just getting out of the car and locking up and i heard the fire whistles go off and saw trucks start flying down the street...didnt think anything of it til i saw one stop just down the street from where i was...i turned aroun and saw smoke rolling out the window of the one building...little did i know that this window was the window that overlooks the street from the computer shop that i always would frequent...the guy that ran it was like a father to me, my mentor...he taught me almost everything i know about computers and electronics and how to repair them. the fire companies(4 of em, and another 3 on standby) got the fire out, but the whole second floor was destroyed(the floor that Randy lived on and had his shop on, he owned the whole second floor)...at this point they went in and started to search for people...as far as i know atm there was no one in the building, but i have this bad feeling about it...i have a feeling that Randy was trapped in his shop(the room that the fire started in from what i understand)...

this guy was like a father to me, taught me everything...his daughter and granddaughter are like family to me too...i just hope that in some form of a miracle they werent home at the time...it would be really sad to see Randy go out like that...he was/is one of the greatest people i have ever met...i dont know what started the fire, and i probably wont know til tomorrow when the sunday paper comes out...these are the ony details i know right now...i will post back when i find out more, but if by the slightest chance that randy wasnt home and is ok, i will probably not be around too much for awhile so i can help him get back on his feet...

He is a lucky man to have such good friends..
i know someone who is down on their luck with no friends..all the ppl in her life say they would help..but they just want sex. Why cant there be more ppl around like you.
Im glad I read this post. You are a very kind and good person. Good luck to your buddy and yours.

sry for my non update in the past week, been very busy...seems like randy is OK, he wasnt home...but there was someone that got burnt very bad, and it was his fault that the fire started...the report said that a kid was on the 3rd floor(randy is on the 2nd) and he had a crystal meth lab and he lit up a cigarette and it blew up on him...stupidity at its finest, first off having the drug lab then second lighting a cigarette in an environment with dangerous and explosive/flammable chemicals

ok...im glad your friend is well.

I am gonna state that I am not one to call anyone names.. however, I think this calls for my unusuality to kick in

lol, my thoughts exactly...bad thing was, i knew the kid that was hurt...he was a friend of a friend(and i use the term *was* very strongly) and the bad thing is he is only 17!!!

Im sorry that he is hurt.

Guess that is the price you pay to play that way!

I have been burned badly..not to go into details .. but the pain is tremendous. Lots of morhpine! Great..that is just great..Thinkin' bout it...not a good thing to give a methhead..morphine...

none the less..sucks that someone got hurt. Glad there werent any infants around...Here in Missouri in my locale..there have been quite a few meth busts involving small toddlers in the home. I have no clue as to what ppl are thinkin'..other than my first reply..about the assssss' bein' dumb!

Some people... (tsk tsk)
If you're gonna play with fire, you're gonna get burned. (No pun intended)
Unfortunately, when you play with fire, others will get burned too.
I am glad that your friend is ok, but think about this...
your former 'friend of a friend' could've killed your friend.
I'm glad your friend is ok. The other guy... throw the book at him!

What I was trying to say was... the guy who had the lab should get 40 years. Your friend (the guy with the computers) - I'm glad he's ok.

Sorry if it didn't sound right. Sometimes I say things and think something else and it doesn't come out right.

I'm 28 and still have a life to learn about.

That's good news, LordKwiKSilva00!

I guess if one is dumb enough to mess with 'substances', one is dumb enough not to understand the risks!
