Thanks. So far it has started off very well. I have already bought myself a present, a 21" Sony G520. Things are definitely looking good here, and will soon be drinking a beer or two with my entire family.

Wow! That's a very nice start indeed! Sony makes great monitors, I have the E540 which is almost identical to your G520 other than the max resolution and the HZ Scan Ranges is slightly different (mine only max out to 1920 x 1440
vs. yours at 2048 x 1536 @ 75Hz)...
