Some Specs from manual:
satellite amplifier - one channel into 4 ohm, < 1% total harmonic distortion at 1 kHz, 3.5w RMS
subwoofer amplifier - into 4 ohm, < 1% total harmonic distortion at 100Hz, 10w RMS

These are actually really decent speakers for the price. Got this deal and bought 3 sets when they ran the same deal about a month ago. Plenty of volume and no noticable distortion with music cd's. These sound very good, especially for the price. Wednesday ad said on sale Wednesday only, but they have had these on sale off and on for the last month, at least. Watch your local Fry's ads for availability of this deal.

Saw an In-store Special display. Sign on display said Fuji 16x 50pk. cd-r, $19.99. However, all the cd-r's on the display were 24x. Took 2 - 50pks. to the register and had them do a price check. They rang up at $8.49 each. Clerk said this was the correct price as these are on sale. He said whoever set up the display got the information on the display sign wrong. Don't know how long this price will be good. YMMV

I wish we had one here too. All we have in my town is Staples and I'd rather drive 45 min. to Topeka,KS than to buy from staples.

fry's is my home for comp, doesnt help that i live 5 mins away from one.. it's my testing stuff for comp stuff,video card,soundcards,monitors,speakers,printers...
charge it....try it out for a few days, return it...

oh one time i bought a digital camera for a class project used it one day and returned it the next day...

i know i'm bad....but they have such a great return policy.....i will stop..i will... i thinkk :)

Well, I'm moving to Austin in a couple months and there'll be a Fry's waiting for me :cooldude:

I've been reluctant to drive 82 mi from my hometown of San Antonio to Austin just to visit a computer store, but once I move I'll probably become there #1 Customer, :D

I've given them the kiss of death several times for poor customer service, and marveled at times how good it is...

Hey, I got a Fry's! It's not Fry's electronic.. I think it's something like Fry's Happy Wok or something.. LOL And besides, Fry's electronics isn't that far from where I currently am.. Only like 12,000 miles (11 hours) taking a non-stop flight to LAX! LOL :rolleyes:

But hey, they have something MUCH MUCH better out here in Seoul, Korea... like 5 high-rise buildings (at least 10 floors) and bunch of little ones all located in a area they call "Electro-Town" and all floors are computer hardware! You need to pack a lunch to see all the stores in this area! I think the only thing that comes close to this is the electronic market in Japan....

nm that last post I saw when you were registered and thought thats when you posted. But about Fry's I love that store their ad comes on the back of my sports page in our paper and I just can't wait to see it everyday. People think I am looking at sports when I am really just a comp geek!
