I wrote the biggest check I have ever wrote today :) $46,218 for the first delivery of many for my new home. The foundation is all done and ready to start building starting tomorrow with the floor joist which we went with the new engineered joist which are like pressed wood which are supposed to be stronger and no warp factor so nice level floors at a much easier job. I am so tired as I have be out there on and off all day.

The biggest so far for me was 5,000. That was big enough. MDS that check was my entire budget lol. Somehow im supposed to finish without any more money ....... im trying.

Interesting. The biggest check I ever wrote was also just today. $1,000 for a down payment on my new wheels. :)

I wish I could go out and blow that much on whatever I like. We have already made some huge changes to the plans but the rooms for the most part will be about the same size. Walls will be starting to go up by Sunday after floor is in place. I am glad my brother-n-law is in the concrete business as he did all the concrete work for me :) for my old bass boat and he worked for it let me tell ya.

wow man, thats a lot of cash 8O wish i had that kind of dough :p lol

biggest check i ever wrote was $0.00 (no checking account, cant get one because i dont have photo ID :( )

LordKwiKSilva00 I will be paying out much more still as it is a large house and it is not cheap to build and I will be paying for it for the next 30yrs. It will be paid off just before I retire :)

Thats a BIG check!

I think the largest I ever wrote was $21,000 for my house (little over a month ago )...BUT, I used a certified check from my bank.

Now that I am thinking about it...the biggest checks for me were always going out...not coming in.

I hear that BBA. I have to head out to the house now as I am getting a electric meter put on a pole between the shop and where the house is started at. I will finally have power in my shop which is fully wired and has a fridge and microwave so no more PB&J sandwiches while I'm out there working plus I had two large lights put on the pole so maybe I can work a bit later and to also help detour people from sneaking around at night while we are building. Starting to lay floor joist today and I hope to get the first floor joist done by tomorrow so we can start on the walls :)

Man aint that the truth, why is it we always write checks much bigger than we ever recieve. Something wrong with that!! LOL

btw, mine was 50,000...........oh noooooo.

Biggest I have ever written is 10,000 about 4 years ago.
