Would I lose my current config if update my software to my cisco 678?

Usually Yes....always write down your config prior to a CBOS upgrade....I've seen them keep settings and I've seen them totally wipe them out....so dont take a chance ;)

Well upgraded succesfully a few days ago without losing any config! :D

I have always prefered to do a complete wipe and then reupload my CBOS. So I always had to reconfigure.. Little more time envolved, but I was happier with the results.. Why? Couldn't tell you.
