Anybody hate Rush Limabaugh, as much as I do???
If it were you or me, we'd be doing COLD TURKEY time and looking at rehab as a condition of release.
I have no (NONE Notta bit o') sympathy for the little fatass hypocrite. I think that he deserves a taste of his own (documented) punishment/medicine here.
He'll skate though. And his little dittoheads will rally around him and trumpet his return. And he'll never make it through the 12th step.

You do know that by posting this you are keeping his name in the public eye. In effect, you're ensuring that he has an audience for when he returns from wherever he went.

so...did rush say at anytime he should not be prosecuted? He said he will take responsibility for his actions and will accept the consequences.

Actually...after reading that whole article...your being lied to in a big way.
It doesnt surprise me at all, but man those idiots sure are good at making stuff up.
IE: "He destroyed his hearing" They didnt follow the hearing loss issue very well did they? Why dont you research exactly what happenned to his hearing and the recovery process, you might learn some interesting stuff... unless you would rather believe the martians did it type of story the enquirer pushes.
IE: Back pain... They kind of failed to mention the back surgery and medication from it...you know, when it WAS prescribed by a real doctor.

Your sources are stating it as fact...yet the professors assistant said she can not confirm it...probably because she has no factual information to back up her conjecture on Rush. Sounds like a witch hunt.
It also looks like Rush did not get hooked on drugs because he was a junky...he was addicted by the pain killers prescribed to him after surgery. That sounds like a problem with the doctors prescribing medications they obviously know are addictive and not taking proper control of patients addictive reactions.
So...it's not like he's going to the street corner to buy pot/acid/cocain etc... like the real junkies do (including most movie stars/actors/musicians). I hope that doesnt inflame anyone here that may be acting hypocritically themselves.

The internet is not owned by liberals, and our media is not all liberals. You are only partly right...but it's a start. There are certain media organizations that are...the Washington Post, NY Times, LA Times, CNN, CBS and a few others are proven to distort news against favor of any republican or supporter.
How many times has it been proven that most media is liberal and ONLY post liberal slanted reports? MANY.
The thing that ****es me off about media companies is they charge higher prices for content if you want to see good news channels like Fox. I guess being non-slanted cost a lot more than going with the mindless.

FYI I've had my share of addictions. It's something I've struggled with on and off for over 20 years. The only addiction I have yet to resolve is nicotine.:D
We have narcotics here in our house yet they are not abused. We are aware of how addictive they are so they are not taken unless necessary.

The Clintons will always be brought up in any thread that has a political overtone. This is because they still control the Democrat party. The leadership of the party are all Clintonista's and there is all this talk of Hillary running for president. As long as that is the case expect to hear them talked about. :)

Good question RK. It really kind of shows up what was happening in this thread. Both sides of the debate in this thread are partly right and partly wrong, and neither is willing to conceed anything.
One thing I'd like to point out is that of course Rush is a proven hypocrite. Every last one of us is. Think about it. I'm sure you'll be able to come up with dozens of examples where you were hypocritical.

I don't think that I'm wrong (not even partly) when it comes to hating war mongering puveyors of hatred. I include Rush Limbaugh in those ranks along w/ the entire Bush administration. They have done nothing but play on people's fears and hatred. And look where it's brought us. Now that they've gotten us into this mess they don't know what to do next. They're all fighting amongst themselves trying to get Boy George's ratings back up, w/ no concern for the American public or the people they have claimed to have liberated. Their only real concern is those damn oil fields that they've secured.
Rush Limbaugh is a bigger figure in the Republican Party than most of the elected officials in said party. I think he's a prime example of measurement, when it comes to the determination of what truth (or lack of)they spew. So far the right wing nuts don't have a very good record going, when it comes to being upfront and truthful w/ the public.
Having said that... I feel a bit satisfied.
