Since logging on to XPC this morning, I have;
Taken my pride and joy to the nursery,
Finished 2 loads of washing, nearly dry,
Last minute trip to the supermarket,
Cooked a Shepherds Pie for dinner,
Organised Travel Insurance online, ( oops, forgot that :) )
Vacuumed the Lounge.
And whilst doing that, I have been checking in here every 15 - 20 mins to see whats new!
Is XPC addictive?
:)

Yes it is addictive... :)
I try and pop in and out thru-out the day as my work load allows and then I usually spend a couple of hours onsite at night.

So far -
Drinking by students in the Computer lab.
Dog bite incident last night
Flag lowering issue - protcol
Officers - not giving enough information in reports
Fire drill setup and execution later
Heath and safety inspection
tried to ge t a mechanic for an appointment to line up front end
had my lunch at 0945 - got another 9 hours to go hungry
birthday cake for a 50 year old
IT section changed my password and rolled me into a new domain
Wonder if I can tie onto my mail from home now?
And just now have enough time to write and say hello!
Cheers - C :)

I've been a good gal today! No distractions allowed! Got alot done, too. Have spent all day updatig my site - still not finished - and tweaking a client's Flash logo which I just packed off to him.
Got laundry done today, too, and now taking a 3:30pm break drinking a cup of coffee before I head out to the gym [coffee raises metabolism .. gotta get all I can get from my workouts lol].
Cowboy, what's in your Shepherd's Pie? I don't even know but it sounds like it might be good :D
Centurion, is that a day in the life of a security pro? :)
Hi Creatures! Any new flash stuff to dazzle us with? :)
Hi Mike, Gohan - hope you're having a good day :)

Loged in this morning and thought I posted something in MDS's thread around 6:00 am.
Put the roof and gable ends on the masterbedroom, master bath and closet.
Then cleaned up and checked in here 6:47pm.
Cathredral ceilings and gables are fun to frame in. Especialy when their 2 different sizes and are offset from one another. Fun very fun ;)
Oh, yep, addicting.

is shepard pie made with mash potatoes and ground beef?

Along with Carrots and Onions and a mix of herbs and spices, yes!
Interestingly, we cal it minced Beef in England, but pretty much everywhere else ( including France ) call it ground beef!
I frequent the places where one can see the meat being 'ground' or 'minced', so no offal or fat or similar!
BTW How ya feelin, Robin ? A little better? I guess you have that duallie running, as you P1553d all over my bonfire in the stats, I have to get another 16 machines running to catch you now, huh!

I'm sorry to say that I haven't had much time lately to check in on the latest happenings. But it looks as though we've got a house full :) and all is running smoothly. Hope all is well with everyone.

Shepard's Pie is yummy. I've made it also with shredded chicken, and various vegetarian versions. Just about any combination of compatible vegetables seems to work.
I'm afraid I occasionally use this and other forums I like to visit (mostly adventure game forums) as a way to avoid my work when I don't like the way it's going, but usually I just like to see what's up with you nice people when I have the time! It sounds as if many of you have had very productive days--I can't claim the same!

XPC is very addictivee, pretty much the only forum i visit anymore...and it used to be the trade froum that i went to, but i gave that up....i will admit to it now that i have a problem with trading and i am not a stable trader and cant handle it with as much responsibility as i should

I check here off and on. Sometimes not logging in. I think this site is certainly addictive and wish I had more time like Bob to spend here.
Between here, Creature and TIMO, I guess I spend 3-4 hours daily.
BTW, Mike, I like the new format with Reference Forums and Troubleshooting Forums. Makes it easier to find something.
