Bit later today, had a late night, so I enjoyed a couple of extra hours sleep this morning - Well she slept through it. :)

Quite a tight fight going on at the top I see, every time I looked at the FaD stats yesterday, it was different. Two very powerful opponents. Although give it a month or so, and Plum will probably be on top - No contest there

You may have noticed I was a bit quiet yesterday, just bought one of them Microsoft SPV's - Took me near on 2 hours just to figure out how to make a call  Excellent phone though - If your a geek :)

Weird - Cowboybooter had 1024 hits yesterday, but today has 14, well in binary.

Milestones:
--------------
CCristo - 4.5 million points
Wizzard~Of~Ozz - 4.5 million points
Zippy - 3 years CPU time
PresterJohn - 6 years CPU time
Plum Ugly - 100 thousand hits
Manda - 4.5 million molecules
EmilyJayne - 10 thousand points

Yeah, it's been fun with CCristo, but I think he's pulled too big a lead now, I'll just have to add more next week and try to play catchup, and If I'm down by Niagara Falls I'll have to check in on my remote down there, see what happened to it (maybe it's been chewing a job for the last 4 weeks?? an XP1800 that would be a horrible job)

Onwards and upwards team, and good work CCristo on getting a bigger gap from me :D

Woohoo, just checked, the XP1800 has checked in, it's a Barton and an XP2000 that haven't uploaded, I'll give them a call today :D that one is easy(they are pre-occupied with a new little addition to their family(kitten) so it's understandable), I may not be out yet, how ya doin CCristo? you power up the rest of your herd yet :D

Anybody seen THE MOUTH today ? Just wanted to let him know that I passed the FaD stats on my way here, and there it was of course, just what we were all expecting:

15 Twinkletoes 709,725
16 mickwish 709,300

Justice will be done. I must pop off and ask Keith to highlight it.

Well you know how loooooooooooow mine where...

Just delete the methodology from the queue and run the cancer jobs. My hits/job ratio has gone up to 15 now - from 11
Thats what I've been doing. - Leave the methodology for ThinkTank as they prefer those for the fast adding molecules :p

Been hitting some heavy jobs aswell - 200+ hits per job. Over the week they still add up to the same number of points, just less molecules but more hits.

Ultimately, I'm still gonna hit 11th place whith the next 2 weeks the way Plum is going, so it doesn't really make any difference to me.

Keep 'em crunching people - Lets push a little harder :)

good crunching, everyone.

Come on guys ... it's not about hits ... it's about doing the work. I do all the jobs that come along ...

If you just crunch them all, sooner or later your hits stats will even out.

Don't delete jobs ... just process them all ... besides we are working off of ranky by POINTS ... Hits are just like throwing hte dice.

Unfortunate though it is, at least we havn't gone the way of Timo, 110 members, only 39 uploading :)

I suppose it is to be expected, FaD is not for everyone :(

Still, we are still KICKING ARSE as a team :D :D

Hmmm, ok, BUT!

Most of the methodology seem to be for side effects and such.
I do not see the need for my expensive (several thousand pounds worth) of compputer equipment to see whether or not I get the sh*ts after taking medication.

If you were laid up in hospital with terminal cancer (God forbid), would you really care if a certain treatment would cause you to grow an extra nipple? Even if it meant you were cured?

I only stick to the Cancer molecules, they create a lot of hits (or potential cures) as this, to me is the most serious problem facing mankind at the moment.

NOTE:

This is beer talking - I am totaly sloshed, and claim no responsibility for my actions or text posts :)

[EDIT] This is now the third attempt to get the sprlling write.<Note to one's self, DON/;t try and post under the influence of Stella> :)

No post-it notes tonight :)

So that's how you got that third nipple in the middle of your forehead Win2K ... was always curious about that!

Methodology is useful for many purposes per THINK.

I guess I do them all because without methodogy, the cancer screening might be totally useless on it's own.

I just crunch them all!

I think no hits on methodology is a good thing, it means it doesn't interact with other things (AKA side effects) I'm just guessing on all this, if there were high hits then it's more likely a side effect.

I crunch Cancer and methodology(obviously) and also have beta checked. I don't delete jobs.

i wouldn't discount TIMO so lightly...those 39 are doing a very respectable job. lately they been #2 in Pts output (behind us) and outproducing thinktank. and some of their members have been pretty active in recruiting in their circle...

I didn't meen it in that sense, they are a very strong team, no doubt about it. If you look at the FaD stats though, there is loads of members, but at the bottom they are almost all red.

As for the deleting jobs part, it is very rare I will delete them, how I get round it is drop the cpu speed in think settings, download jobs, once I have had my quota of methodology, I crank the cpu speed up to say 10 gigs, then download the cancer units.

I know the methodology units are important, but I want to get my hits up as they are very low.

Strange isn't it, when we were counting molecules, the opposite would probably be true.

On wards and upwards team...

I just do what's in the queue, regardless! Even the no hit jobs seem to generate some points, but then I'm never likely to make the top 10!

Morning CBB, yeah, my head feels some what fuzzy. What would we do without nurofen :) I was up til 2.30 drinking with a mate of mine. He's leaving the area soon, so we had to have one last blast

Hows your knee? Mine is feeling a bit better, in that I can walk on it no probs, although I do get the odd twinge, and I can't bend it back as far as normal without pain, but then it's still a bit swollen.

The excersises I got from the physio are helping though.

New stats should be out in 5 mins...

The only thing which generates points is TIME. TIME. T - I - M - E.

NOT mollies, NOT HITS, not the number of pints of beer your grandmother drinks every evening (so tell her to cut down, otherewise she would get up to Geobot's ripe old age), but TIME.

i might be wrong, but i think someone here did mention them.

I've made an Email, just checking it against multiple translators to make sure I didn't call them any names. hard using translators to flip it around, would appear there is no word in Russian for team, (other then comrades) will have to see if it get's consistantly translated back and forth.

Now how can I send this, my name when translated to russian then back means tanktops!!!! That's bad :(
