View Full Version : What do you think of something like this for Xtreme?
Here is just a sample I made to see for testing purposes... Let me know what you think! :)
1. Click on the link below here (http://www.xtremepccentral.com/lec/tips&tricks.html).
2. Click on the How to adjust the page file size in Windows XP link.
3. Wait about 10~20 seconds and you will get a prompt for a browser plug-in. Press YES if you want to see... Don't worry, the plug-in is harmless.. You have my word on it! :)
4. be sure you have your speakers on! ;)

That's neat. I like it. How is it dial-upers? And is it a file that you can send a friend?

Well, here's a link you may want to read up on... It's not AV, but... :D

You won't have the player, so no... However, I'm deciding on whether I will use version 1.0 which is the downloadable file which also comes with a player... Will let you know shortly... :)

Wow, Once again I am truely impressed with NDC's skills! I didn't need speakers for that as I don't use speakers but just watching the little pen deal thing it was very clear without sound of how to do that with winXP. I have never used winXP before and I thought it was very clear.
I would like to see more of those tutorials. I think that will be a great reference point to send people to. Its very clear and easy to understand even without sound!
Great Work NDC!

Yep, worked great on my dial up :)
It's very cool :)
Perhaps your next demonstration can be a tutorial on how to check for a dead PS/2 port (I wish I was kidding) ;)
SO should I turn enable active sripts again to see it?

wow thats awsome!!! when you have some time you should make some more!! and make a whole section for people to come in and won't have to ask step by step. but of course that is alot of bandwidth to be using for that option. still i think its great

Very cool .....dont like the plugin
Try to just make a mediafile with media stream
http://www.salatar.com/new.wmv
But the file size would be much bigger on the media file vs. LEC files. Put it this way, a 30 minute file with audio and visual is less that 1.8mb... Would a WMV media file be as small or at least close with acceptable quality?

why can't all instructions be this easy and detailed?
a lot of times when u get help it will say go to "dos prompt" and do something there.
well heck, u might not know how to get to dos prompt. so u really aren't helped anyway.

i think i got a little long winded. lol
