Do you think any changes to this site should be made

Well i'm sure Mntsnow agrees when i say that this site is always interested in possible changes that would make this site better.

Personally i have no real ideas on changes that would make this site better, but maybe one of you does.

One thing that really bugs me is that it always jumps to the last post in a thread - even if it's your first visit to the thread.

I'd prefer having to find my way to the end of a thread I've visited before rather than always have to click back to the beginning of a thread I've not been to.

Yep, I get that also after voting in a pole. I mentioned that to Mntsnow and he said he's never run into that situation so I thought it was just my IE or something and just ignored it...

It's because the poll is now on the main page, it somehow messes up because of that.

I agree with Endobiotichaos, It's a minor thing but having to hit home to read the first post in the thread gets annoying. And if I click on one that has multiple pages it takes you to the last page...

EndobioticChaos, I've never had that happen to me. I always have to click on the "Go to first unread post" link.You probably use a different style set than I do. I use "Default".

One other thing I'd like changed in this style set is some other "Next Page" buttons, besides just the little arrows by the page number. Something different, and definitely something bigger.

It is cause your clicking on the links from the "The Latest Discussions" box on the Homepage thus you are taken directly to the "last" post of the given thread That is the way it is coded in and I didnt write that piece :D

As for the Poll taking you back to the Homepage that is by default for the Poll that is active on the homepage... as that is where the majority of votes take place for the "active" poll :)

Just small things I've noticed, and they were already mentioned. A second intrest is a good idea. I wouldn't vote for games since there's already a ton of gaming forums. Something a little more unique.

Anyone could set up that one, someone could just come in with a bot and let it run, doesn't require anyone's help.

I admit that I am the ignorant one, because I (essentially) just arrived.... "I'm not sure about what you are asking me."

I have no problems using what is here, and I have never used some of the forums, so I can't give an answer based on experience with everything. Further, as I have attention deficit disorder, being able to disable menus, hide columns etc, is good - excellent, in fact, as I can focus into smaller realms and not be overwhelmed by tertiary issues.

I guess you could say that I like what I see, but I do not yet use every feature to have a judgement about it.

It ain't broke as far as I can see. ;)

I came up with gaming because it's fairly related to PC's (;)) however i do know that forum is pretty inactive so that's why i don't requested it, although i did about 1,5 year ago. :D

I like this site the way it is, look at errrmm the other place, it's huge and very cluttered and crowded IMO. I think we have all the fourms we need right now. Heck thats what the Genral dis, fourm is for, off beat questions, why have a seperate fourm that probley get used maybe thrice a yr.

I concure, thats a pain in the butt. happens to me all the time, but maybe cause I run custom security settings in IE, no active x or scripitng, or java etc..

I would like to see the "member PC" section listed not in chronological order, but in an order determined by votes. The best PC at the top.

I am not sure how easy it would be to do that, but it would be cool. I have no real complaints about this site, and would have to say this is one of the easiest to use (and fallow) forums I have seen.:)

I like this site just the way it is.

Not too big, not too small, ALL the members are friendly, and the mods are intelligent enough to let certain things go etc etc.

I noticed on the poll about themes which is now closed :( a mention about switching to just 2 themes. I personally use Beta, I can't get on with the Emerge theme, and the default doesn't have the quick reply box. If we had just Emerge and default, I would like to see a quick reply box thrown in.

Other than that, great forum - Keep up the great work :D

For threads with more than one page I'd like to see a page number at the top of the page as well as the bottom.

It already has that at the Emerge theme, not sure about the other one though, but i'm pretty sure it has.
