I have a 40GB(2 X 20GB) Raid0 machine partitioned for drive c and d. I added another 60GB drive as master on IDE channel 1. I fdisk and formatted this drive ok but windows assigned it letter d and now my second partition is drive e and I don't want to change all my shortcuts. My question is-Is there an easy way to re-assign my drive letters?
You've to make it up with an extended partition containing logical drives and hide the first primary partition. keep a hidden primary of about 1GB, could become handy for firing up another OS anytime later.

Excellent answer Herb :) (about secondary OS suggestion ect)
Reddog. To make this happen easily I would suggest you use PowerQuest's Partition Magic. It's very easy to use an can let you do this without losing data :) (always backup before though!)
