cpu stepping barton 2500

is there anyway to figure out my bartons stepping without pulling off the heatsink/fan? i forgot to look when i was in a rush to put the system together. I believe that the chip was green...but again was in a rush. sisoft tells me its rev/stepping is A /0 (0).

id like to be able to kick this up above 2 ghz.

its currently at 166mhz fsb and the multipliers at 11x. the voltage is 1.62 (says sisoft)

i prefer stability over speed...so any opinions on a little bump would be appreciated

Just go for it. Watch your temps and check your stability as you go.

My XP3200 is rev/stepping A/0 (0).

I think you should be able to get 2.2 GHz out of it.
