OK, does anybody know the colors that will be invisible with the two background colors in posts here?

If you look @ NDC's avatar, that's one of the colors.
I don't know about the other one.

Yep :) I just did a print screen and pasted it into Paint Shop Pro. I used the eyedropper tool to select the color, then went and looked at the HTML color code number. Now I can do secret codes. Example

The hamster flies at midnight... :D

Most would take that for a joke, but it looks like you were or are in the military. Am I wrong?

And, I was just about to mention using a graphx editor and the HTML code to do that. I was just a little too late ;)

One look at my x-ray and they wouldn't take me. LOL, You'd be surprised @ what the army would do!
I am indeed wrong. :o
That's what you get for being in a militaristic family, j/k :D
Looks like the majority were right this time.

Howste, you might look into a little application called "COLORCOP" which is a handy color code tool. It is free standing and is only like 100K in size when installed and will tell you both the Hex as well as the RGB color codes.

Yeah, that's a useful little utility. I'm current using V.5.0.1.

Madfish - To make your text a certain color you can do 1 of 2 things. 1st, we have a vB Code tool just above the message box along with the other vB Code tools that says "COLOR". Just select which color u want under the pull-down menu and type in the text you want.

Now if you want to use a color that's not under that pull-down menu just use that little utility that was mentioned above ---^ called ColorCop to find the right color you want and it will tell you the HTML code (a 6 digit number beginning with the '#' sign) for it. Use this number and insert it into this code:
Insert Text HERE

To insert an image you can also do 1 of 2 things. 1st, you can use our "Attach file" feature which allows you to attach valid files (gif, jpg, png, txt, zip, bmp, and jpeg) of 524288 bytes or less. When you're typing your message, go down below where it says Attach file, click Browse and select a valid file to attach. Then just submit your post/reply and the picture/file will appear in your post.

2nd, you can also insert a picture that you have stored on your webserver (ftp, etc). For instance, I use Freeservers.com to store all my pictures, files, etc so when I want to insert a pic into a post I just store it on my Freeservers.com website and then use the following code to insert it into my post:
[i m g]http://www.yourwebserver.com/yourpic.jpg[/i m g]
(I had to use spaces to demonstrate the code, don't use spaces).

There you go. :)
