more server questions

i installed win2k pro/apache/mysql/php.

everything is working according to the instructions that i followed to install everything.

now to begin my questions.

everytime i boot my system the apache server is running. how and where do i go so that it runs when i want it to?

what do i have to do so that i can access my D: drive from any web browser?

i have signed up for the free webspace that my isp provides.

i will be putting my mp3 on my hdd on the D: drive and i want to know what i have to do so that i can access them from my other computer that has winamp installed on it?

Depends on how the "apache" server was setup. Most likely you have it starting as a service thus you can turn it off via the Services control app.

I personally would not recommend putting your MP3 drive on a publicly accessable webserver.

If you just wanting to see files from another computer on your network the best thing to do would be to create a "share" and give permissions to that share so that the other computers on your network can access it and that way they can then "map" it and it will show up as a drive on their system :)

so if i want to stream my mp3 would i be able to do so with what i have setup?

if not what else can i do with this setup?
