I don't know if this is the right forum, so please move the thread if it is.

Now, I am fairly new to gaming and am looking for a new PC, but dont know what i should get. Below is what I have an idea on what to get (I kind of want this stuff):

Dual P4 3.2 Ghz (Hyper-Threading) Expecting to overclock as much as possible (unless dual XEONS are better???)
2 GB RAM
Dual 200 GB HDD
19" LCD Monitor
ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 256 MB
Cable Modem (got it already)
Windows P Professional
Sound-Blaster Audigy 2 Platinum (the new one)
BOSE Premium speakers for the best and highest quality sound possible
This Case (http://www.viciouspc.com/product/config_paladin.html)
16X DVD-Rom Drive
DVD-RW/CD-RW

I have heard aout liquid cooling, but I don't know if it is good or not, Someone please tell me the answer to this. Below are some links to liquid cooling cases:
www.vapochill.com
www.thermagic.com

Cost does not matter to me at all! As long as I get what I want, I am fine!

Someone please recommend some cooling techniques and some good games too!

Thank You,
Kevin Naia

Welcome to XPC! :)

Well for one thing. You will have to get P4 Xeons to run in dual configuration. Regular P4s will not run in dual configuration. You will have to get a pair of P4 Xeons and a Dual Xeon mainboard.

And if you plan on getting a duallie for gaming, don't waste your money and get a single processors system. Most games are not SMP enabled so it will be worthless. Duallies are good for SMP enabled applications such as Graphic applications, A/V, etc. Another benfit would be the responsiveness. As for gaming? As mentioned above, wasting your money...

Water cooling? I don't think it would be needed. I very much doubt you will find mainboard with OC settings in the BIOS since Xeon chip based SMP systems were designed for servers and workstations.

Thats a WHOLE lotta rig for gamiong. Lots of overkill and wasted money. Single CPU would be better.

As mentioned above the dual processors isn't needed, and so is 2gb ram, although alot of ram never really hurts though, but you could lower it to 512 without a problem.
