I keep looking through howtos and seemingly following the directions, but t never quite seems to work, what I need is a pop3 server that can recieve mail for the domain name (I did once have it working based on ip, but it didn't like mail for the domain name) , and preferably able to have more than one domain name. and then an smtp werver is nice, but not a necessity.
running kernel 2.4.16 on slackware 8, sendmail is presently uninstalled because in leu (sp?) of getting it to work I was trying qmail/vmailmgr

I'll see if I can get one of my buddies who is a linux man try and help you out. I'm mainly a Win2K server guy. I have 5 email servers running out of home for myself and a couple of clients. so if you were running windows I might have been able to help. but I will email him this URL and see if he can help. but will most likely be Monday as I know he wont get his mail until monday
