Hi there,

this being my first post I'll try to be brief.

I bought this computer from Gateway a year ago its a 1000 Mhz Athlon system with a Gateway AMD Onxard motherboard. I am trying to fine out exactly what I can do with it. The branded name on the motherboard is MS 6330 V2.1 a board I suspect from MSI but one not listed on their website. Strangely enough a V1.0 and V3.0 exist so I persume the 2.1 was just a OEM model for Gateway.

Can anyone help me to find out some info on the motherboard and a manual.

Any and all help gratefully accepted.

Mad Al

Here is a translation of that page that Jadison posted

Questions to MSI Slot A and base A Main board
Ref NR: 25-0040 16.04.2001

Product: All Ms-6330 Main board
Question/symptom:
On what do I have to respect with the BIOS update?
Answer/solution:
If you do not have Ms-6330 2,1 from a gateway PC, in principle nothing. All Main boards from above product list use the same BIOS (the BIOS recognizes, on which of the boards it runs straight, and makes then different board-specific options available or not. Those differently BIOS update packages for above boards with the respective file name of the Main board (e.g. "K7T pro 2-A V2.7.exe" or "K7T turbo V2.7") contain if the version number (here: V2.7) equal is absolute, the same files. For the Ms-6330 V2.1 gateway board you find to BIOS updates exclusive with gateway.

You might also visit
http://www.gateway.com/support/default.asp

and put in your serial # and if their site is setup anything like Dell's HP's, Compaq's ect it will list the setup your system shipped with as well as upgrade options that are available for it.
