I have a small 2 computer network where both boxes are running XP PRO, connecting to the internet through a Netgear 5 port switch, then to a single in / single out Netgear Router and finally a Motorola SB4200 Cable modem.
1: I have absolutely no problems with connecting to the internet from either machine.
2: I have a shared printer that both machines have no problem printing to.
3: Under the port forwarding menu I have put 1 box in the "Default Server" spot so that I can have ports 80 / 21 open for hosting my own FTP and Website.
It should would. Here is my problem, how do I find out the IP address that I should tell everyone. If I take out the router, it all works fantastic. I am at a loss...
