help with windows 2000 server

can anyone give me some links on how to install and use windows 2000 server advanced?

can windows 2k server be used in a raid 0 setup?

Yes 2k server can be used with raid. You just have to install the raid drivers if they are not built-in to the OS. Most IDE raids you will have to install the drivers as part of the install.

as for links on how to install I'll have to look around but truthfully it's just like installing 2k pro....it's after the install that you have to configure the server stuff ;)

i did find a site for the install and it looks like it installs like win2k pro.

i would like anything that i would need to know after i install the os.

i just want to read up on win2k server before i install.

One thing that I will suggest is do the install with NO network cable attached.....After installing TURN OFF IIS until after you get all your patches and service pack updates done and get anti-virus installed....THEN start turning on services and such ;)

btw you can download SP4 (the full network version (http://download.microsoft.com/download/e/6/a/e6a04295-d2a8-40d0-a0c5-241bfecd095e/w2ksp4_en.exe)) so you can install it off-line by either copying it over your LAN or by burning it to a cd and then installing from it. :) (it's about 124megs if I remember correctly)
