I bought a pixelview geforce4 ti4200 with 64mb of ddr memory and tv out. Has anyone used this card? I paid about 79 for it and wanna know before I put this in the PC if it is any good.
It is to replace my MSI GeForce2 MX 400 with 64mb DDR memory.
There is a huge difference between the geforce 4 you have and your current geforce2 mx, put it in now!!!!
Although it is not top of the range now all of the geforce 4 ti cards are very good and $79 seems like a bargin.
Here is a link to a review that includes your card (well the 128mb version) and a couple of others of the same type and the pixelview came out on top, so good choice :)

I also seem to remember that at the time the 64mb versions were faster thanthe 128mb versions because they used faster memory and it is only the up and coming games that will benefit from the extra memory.

The TI4200 is the BBFTB vid card out right now. It kicks the butt of cards costing twice as much.

Oh and ... if you have a lot of system memory don't worry how much is on the card. A 64mb card will run as well as a 128mb card.

Thanks for the input guys! I installed it and it works great. I love the speed increase with the FASTWRITES and AGP4x mode. I had AGP2x card, which was the one before, and it was aiight. Now it just kicks!
Thanks a bunch...
