Many sites do not allow images as sigs let alone flash type files. Make sure the site your wanting to use your flash sig at allows those types of files.
You getting a red x is a normal thing when trying to use html and images in a forum that doesnt allow them.
the forum that i want to use it on does , but now that im thinkg , maybe the html site isnt compatable with flash files , can that be possable?

From what I have done in Swift and Flash you can embed it onto almost any webpage. It's best if you embed the audio onto the swift before exporting. and make sure to have a stop. Also end the audio if it is longer than the time-length of the signature animation.
i have it set for the music to play on rollover and to stop on rollout, when i play it in my browser it plays perfect, but once i try to upload it to my html server to get the code all i get is a red x...i must be doing something wrong, because when i upload all the others to get the code everything is fine...its just when i try and upload the ones with the sounds or music?

Send me a link to the page, or the swi and I'll take a look. Not promising anything. But it might be something simple that I can knock out in 5 min. kegtapperATbrew-meister.com

I had to make a quick swf from swish using sound just to see if it would work and then set it as avatar on my board (http://www.gmtachess.com/forum/index.php?act=Profile&CODE=03&MID=1) and it seems to work just fine.
I right clicked on the image that I wanted the rollover effect to work on (in this case, I only had the one image) then I clicked on Event, On Roll Over the clicked on add action, Play Sound ""
Now down in the bottom right box I click on Import and selected a wav to play.
I am sure you did it the same way so, I am just curious if you exceeded the size limit set by the board?

Oh, I think I know what the problem is.....
The first time I tried to use a swf as an avatar I used the boards "Upload" feature and somehow the image wouldn't work. If you have webspace, try uploading the image to your own space then simply link to the avatars url.
keg tapper is helping me, but, im still stumped ! when you say my own space?..not sure what you mean?? , funny ..everytime i upload the animations to my html code site i just copy the code and paste in the sig and its works...maybe one of you guys can figure out what i am doing wrong?...thanks
