Have you wanted to try Linux but don't want to mess with setting up? Well, here is a version that will run off the CD! How much easier can it be? ;)

wizofid: Yes, here is some info. directly from their site.

"We can only distribute the CD via a file containing the ISO9660 image that you can use to write a CD by your own, if you have a CD writer and the necessary software."
"The ISO9660 image of the Demolinux CD takes up more than 600Mb (or 500 Mb compressed)"

Here are the instructions on how to write a CD:

<<In this directory you will find the ISO9660 images for the DemoLinux CDROM. These files have an .img extension here, even if .iso is more often used. If your CD writer software prefers a .iso extension, just rename the .img file to .iso after download.

With Easy CD Creator:
Open Easy CD Creator
Go to "File"
then to "Create CD from disc image"
make sure to change the bottom drop down menu ("Files of type:") to say
"ISO image files"

It will do the rest after you browse to the *.iso file>>

downloaded and burnt to cd. It's a little slow due to cd speed but very informative. Thanks

Yeah, it is slow since you need to run it off the CD. But you can get your feet wet without having to touch your hard disk drive, so... ;)
