Just fiddleing around and removed the drive from the via controller and put it on a atat 66 promise card...

Looks like your "fiddleing around " allowed for a big increase in Read Burst Speed. Great Job!

I'm still stuck w/my 7200RPM WD 40GB drive, HDTach Benchmark is on previous thread, nothing's changed except the space on the drive being taken up has increased.

Do you notice any significant increase in performance while using ur PC?

little faster on disk access is all
