Guys, I need to know the web addresses of some overclocking web sites!! I would like some that will give me some information specific to over clocking the XP2100 +, Palamino core. I want to know how far I can safely crank up the voltages to get more speed outta this thing, and maintain stability.Anyone know of such a site?

Well, I went to overclockers.com.The only thing I found was a bunch of guys fighting, and argueing about how Soyo mobos stink.Definitely not the place I wanna go for some advice!!! Guess I'll just keep things as they are on this box!!!

n7vxj...to OC your palimino, you will need heatsink cooling sufficient to keep the CPU below 40ºC at idle and below 44ºC at load. Not many will do it unless you have a direct fan blowhole blowing onto the heatsink, and then you need a very efficient heatsink ( and a volcano is not where it's at, been there done that...try Zalman)

what board are you using? the 2100+ was a very difficult chip to get "going", as it was the end of the line for the palomino.

you could pickup a 1700+ TBred ( JIUHB stepping ) that will take you anywhere between 2250 and 2500 MHz ( depending on other factors such as RAM, mobo and cooling ) for about $45 .

lol :D

He knows all that. I've been telling him for months now. ;) In fact I thought he bought a 1700+ a long time ago.
