XP Pro Question

Mntsnw, I remeber that you said your running XP Pro, I have a question about it.
my XP Pro willn't let me do the crital updates, they fail all the time.
I'm running ZA free and this is what I get in the log:

Generic Host Process for Win32 Services could not accept a(n) UDP Port 1027 connection from 151.202.0.84 because Internet servers are blocked.

Program: Generic Host Process for Win32 Services....

I have it set to allow Generic Host Process for Win32 Services premission to get online at will, but I have all sever fuctions blocked.. cookie setting is at the default level, security level is at default too..
Any Idears?
And are these updates advalable on cd?

Internet servers are blocked

You need to allow that during the update processes as they need to talk to each other!

You should be able to download the updates from MS site then you would not have to disable ZA.

You aren't expecting any hacks are you? ;) :D

Did you turn off the XP firewall? Double check it because I've had it turn itself back on.

Also check the Internet Security Level through Internet options...
