Hey fellas! I broke my AT power switch on my older pc i bought and I bought a new switch. I just know what wire goes where on the metal contacts. Is there a wiring diagram for a switch of this type? Thanks!

(i really dont wanna power it up without assurance LOL)

With an AT power switch you just have the black on one side of the switch and the white wire on the other. Really cant install wrong :)

How many terminals does your switch have on it? Normally a push button switch only has 2 and in that case Snowman is correct. You can't wire it wrong (it realy doesn't matter which wire you connect to which terminal). If it has more, please post back. Also make sure you didn't purchase a momentary switch.

Brown and blue are the same as the Black and White that I mentioned. Just two wires. heck you can even bypass the switch and just wire the Brown and Blue wires together and make it work and then just pull the wires apart when you want to power it off :) The switch is only there to complete the circuit in a simple way.

andy, just be sure you dont do wat i did when changing my first AT psu...i shorted the 110 wires together and put the ground wires together, instead of putting 1 110 volt wire with a ground and the other with a ground also...and to top it off, i did it in a building that runs fuses, instead of circuit breakers....we went all around town trying to find glass fuses to replace the blown ones :p
