i am thinking about getting an
epox ep-8rda+
anthlon xp2600/333
i don't need top of the line but i would like something decent.
i don't game.
i watch dvd and i use my box for my stereo.
i would like to be able to overclock this system.

If you're not into high end games but still want killer graphics I'd suggest the Matrox product line. The older Matrox cards have incredible graphics but are a little slow in 3d gaming. Being "older" they also have dropped in price a great deal. There really aren't many 3d gaming cards that do 2d like Matrox can. They can do it an almost any resolution too so if you decide to run at 2048x1536@ 85hz you'll be set :)
Don't fall into the trap of thinking that you MUST buy the latest from NVidia or ATI or your graphics will suffer. Only your pocketbook suffers if you buy the newest for desktop use. Gaming is another story. Gaming drives the computer market.

i like to watch people play games.:)
i just don't have the eye hand cordination that it takes to play most games.:(

Great suggestion Bill..I have never seen better 2D clarity than a Matrox card

No..I believe the cable they are referring to is a TV out cable. It comes in a package with the software DVD player
