For the past 3 years I have had an LG 775 flatron monitor, slowly the tube has become more blured on the outer edges and encroaching inwards towards the center. Well I went and got myself a nice 17"tft display today. Boy what a difference it has made, everything is so clear and pin sharp. A worthy investment.

ACER (http://www.acer.co.uk/)

Not top of the range but a very nice one to boot. tr5, tf15 which is quite quick from what I can gather.

Me a happy bunny :bunny:

TFT's are sweet. but until the larger ones become more affordable (I currently use 21" flat screen monitors such as HP and IBM and Viewsonic all using Mitsubishi Trinitron screens) I just cant live with the smaller screens that I can afford lol

Acer is a good brand. I had an Acer USB CD writer years ago and it worked really well.

I have a Mag 15" LCD that I picked up cheap at Best Buy and its very bright and clear. Saves space. Wish I could afford the 17" Sony.

I just use this (http://www.cadalyst.com/reviews/hardware/0402lcd/dell.htm). Which TFT monitor is it that you have? I got lost on the website. You'd think I could read a site by now but... :)
