Need Cathode Info and Ideas

Well my Enermax Neon light gave away. The bulb cracked and it will not turn on. I think the circuitry was bad anyway. The light flickered some like on a 50hz refreshrate. So I am looking for a COLD CATHODE in BLUE. I know they run cooler than neon lights (sometimes no heat at all) and I can tell because the ambient temp is 10'c lower which is quite nice.

I was looking around and came across this:

It is the size I want, but from what I am told, it is just a white cathode with blue neon auto tint (WTF!) over the bulb.
I also looked at our sister affiliate (FrozenPC) and saw one with the gases to make the blue light instead of the blue covering.

Which one do you think would be a better deal? If so, what brands should I be looking for?

i bought mine at pcmods.com 1.5 years and still glowing. have a blue and a blacklight. good seller...ultra quick and very reliable.

My cathodes came from http://www.openlinx.com/. They aer pretty good, only $9 plus shipping. I have 2 of them in my case, blue/blacklight.

well mine mounts with tape, then it has a molex connex with a jam nut switch. it is covered in plastic. it is a true cold cathode light. I will try to remember to take some pics of it tomorrow if you want.

I posted this (http://www.members.shaw.ca/smokin1/LR2.jpg) in a thread below..it is my AV computer..and those are black light cold cathodes. They are stuck on either side of the case..and some of the cards and fans are sprayed with black light reactive paint

Very cool. My stuff inside isnt uv active so I will just get a blue one. Can someone show me one with their case undone so I can see the mounting and stuff..

Hey fellas! Thanks for all your ideas! I went ahead and went to Microcenter today as they were advertising some deals for memorial day weekend. They have a Dual PCToys (looked up this company and they are great by other people) Blue Cold Cathod Kit for 9.99! They retail (without the sale) for 21.99. I am so happy! I also picked up a 40mm HSF combo for my video card because I need the cooling and my HS is falling apart.
