Greetings, Was wondering if anyone knows about the screens that libraries put infront of some of their monitors. I've never sat down at one. Are they for privacy? Do they also make the monitors not so brite? I have real sensitive eyes and was wondering if there was anything on the market I could put over my monitor to help my eyes.

As far as I know they are anti-glare screens, or at least they are over here. If you have sensitive eyes they might help but dont forget to adjust the brightness and contrast levels on the monitor itself.

There are certain screen guards that have privacy features where you would need to look almost directly at the screen to see the contents. Viewing from a slight angle would prohibit you from viewing the screen....

Thanks for your input.:) I just took my ViewSonic P95F+ back to the store. All they can do is get me another P95F+. When I get it, I will be leaving it in the box and try to sell it. Now all I have to do is find another monitor. I've hooked up my Gateway VX700 and what a diffrents on my eyes. For some reason this aperture grille doesn't hurt my eyes, but then again it was made in 1998.:D Thanks again for your input.
