ok i was thinking maybe ndc can tell me how i go about this

i just bought a GEFORCE2 GTS-V 4X/2X from newegg.com.
it' a visontek one.
i had a tnt2 ultra in my computer.
i'm running windows xp.
anyways to my problem, it installs fine and dandy and the computer recognizes it and all.. but my frames per second in counterstrike are like 5-10fps,which is totally wrong, considering my friend gets 70 fps constant on the same exact card.

so i was wondering what's the best way to install this video card...
i tried using detnator destroyer to get rid of all the old references, but it doesn't work with xp.
and nvcleaner seems not to work, even if i try to correct the folders to c:\winnt instead(since i upgrade from w2k)

from back in teh win98 i remember what u did was uninstall teh drivers from add/remove program, then boot up make sure the adapter is in in standard vga mode, then delete all nvidia references in the registry and files. install via 4-in 1, install direct x,install drivers..

well cant do the adapter thing with winxp, and cant reinstall direct x since according to microsoft it comes with it...

so what am i suppose to do?

all i want to do is play a little counterstrike..

:( :(
