I am back to the post count. I had 200 and now i have 53. Was i dreaming that i had 200 posts?

Hmmm....I'll do some checking as Nothing has been done to the database.

I found the reason is that the NEW version of the Forum software calculates the Posts strictly by the amount of posts within the database...Thus any MANUALLY adjusted posts counts were lost. and before you or someone else asks.... NO I'm not going to go thru and manually adjust post counts only to have to do it again each and every time forum software is updated or restored. lol It's a new enough board that I'm not going to fight with it...I have other things to deal with :)

you guys added post counts?!?! hrmm makes sense i guess..

Not that we ADDED post counts...I originally Included the Post counts of users from my OLD forum that was at digitalmntsnow. I did what Scott did at Techimo (where he allowed users from SysOpt to "carryover" their post counts from the other site. But I upgraded to newer forum software I run 2.2.1 where Scott runs 2.0.3.

Would the same thing happen at TechIMO if Scott upgraded the forum software there?

Yes and he allowed it to update forum counts.
