Ok i just got home from work today to find my alienware that has a water cooling system flooded. the outtake hose on the cpu plate looked like it was burned through is there any way i could bring back my computer? and how do you think the outake hose got burned?

Sorry to hear of your system going down. Do you have a pic of what happened? Unfortunately if the system was up and running at the time of the flooding the system is probably lost (motherboard ect) due to electrical shorting.

ya i have a pic but it looks the same as a normal system would becasue i stuffed 10 towels in the case wonce i saw it but.

Yeah I'm with Mntsnow on this one. Even if nothing got shorted when it flooded, chances are the CPU burned up from lack of cooling when all of the water drained out of the system (if it was on when it happened).

As for how the hose got burned, your guess is as good as mine on that account. I would just look around at the components that were around the hose and see if anything looks funky...

Really sorry to hear that. That would be he ultimate PC users nightmare! That's the very reason I never did go water cooling (not that I would neeed it. I don't OC anymore so...). I've seen and heard many horror stories where the hoses leak and destroy the whole system... :(
