I was fooling with my server today, and installed a program that RK led me to. It's pretty cool, and relatively easy to use with a Linux based server. Went on the SME box quite well..It gives a photo posting capability that is quite cool

Yep. Works very nicely. I have that one one of my SME linux boxes too. it is also very easy to intergrate with MPN (MyphpNuke) which is another "nuke portal" spin-off.
