I'm no web designer so don't expect anything special! :D

New version (http://www.changsphoto.com/)

I know the pages will load slow for dial-up users. The reason for that is because I made product views at 150 x 150 which is quite large under most circumstances. However, I wanted to make this site how I would want it to look. I like to see products without having to squint.. :D

Old version (http://www.changsphoto.com/old/index.html)

Here is the version some guy made...

The logo was made by Mr. Chang himself using a scratch pad. However, I recreated it in digital format... :)

NDC, you know what I think - It's most cool; you always do most excellent work, my friend.

If you hate web design so much, call me next time, OK? lol :P

Thank you Socal. Do you know why I hate web design and never really got into it? The main reason is because I can't create it exactly how I would want it because I always need to be concerned about image size so it will load...

Well for some people that isn't a problem... My oldest brother made a Startrek site pretty much all made out of images.
Let me check if it's still running... it still is.

And this is the new 1

It ain't near finishing though.

Well, it isn't really about having many images in my case. It's more about having more detailed and 3D look with full 32bit colors. These files would be much too big to load....

Yeah, that's one of the hard parts, NDC.

Having to "optimize" file size and quality for maximum download speed time. Sacrifice quality for speed. Too bad we can have both! Maybe in the future :)

But then it's part of the challenge, too :)

Well, as soon as EVERYONE has broadband connections, the problem will be solved... hehe

That's what my brother doesn't care about, he is making it that it works fine on our connection, which is cable.

I was always told by my instructors to design and test in AOL, IE, Netscape, in that order, AOL being the most popular by many millions of users.

But there's no way I'm installing AOL again..lol, so I design and test with IE, Netscape, Opera and Mozilla (and sometimes I'll see how it looks in Linux browsers, too- trying to do that more and more!) in that order.

But yeah, until the majority is on broadband, it's suicide (for me, anyway) to not optimize, plan and build for the 56K dialup user.
