Since I built my XP1700+ I've never been able to get TrueSpace SE to run.
Ran pretty good on my ol' P200 & I thought it would be blazingly fast on this rig.
But, after a successful looking install, it locks as soon as you try to run it.
I have a demo CD I got from them a few years ago that is ver 4.2 or something like that but you can't save after you get done so I have not played with it much. I do know it works on a XP2100+ system though.

What type of errors are you getting Cadd?

The GUI loads & then it just locks. You can't start a file, open a file, nothing. I can usually close it down in Task Manager & the PC will continue to run OK.
No messages or pop-ups at all.

TS3 special edition
BTW, I uninstallled it, cleaned out some cobwebs from the HDDs, defragged & reinstalled.
Now the GUI comes up, the "splash" logo gomes up, & then it just shuts down. Boom. Disappears. Gone.
No messagees, nothing.

Sorry, I've never heard of this app before and I assume you mean this one trueSpace (http://www.caligari.com/Products/trueSpace/ts65/Brochure/intro.asp?Cate=BIntro)..
Looks interesting! I'm downloading the tS65 trial and will have to give it a go later tonite or this week.. I'm running an AMD 1800+ MP (dually) system.

That's it, though mine is only version 3. Even version 3 was a very competent modeler/renderer/3d painter.
I tried the new downloaded trial version, & it works for me, but I didn't like the interface as well. The new one seems more geared for character modeling and I'm mostly interested in doing architectural/structural modeling.
In any event, I'm just a hobbiest at this, so I'm not ready to plunk down a lot of dough for the latest version in any event.
Wow, this appears to be a full-featured app. I dl'd and installed tS65 and it works for me, too.
Perhaps your tS3 is no longer compatible with your new/er hardware?
