The phone company tried using liquid cooled telephone switches for about 6 to 8 months over a decade ago and almost immediately got rid of the idea. There is no long term solution for keeping a liquid system such as this intact. The system will always eventually leak. One of the big problems was heat induced expansion / contraction. Another problem was basic galvanic response when two different metals come in contact. Then there's the point of the fluid, when it leaks, being conductive. There are relatively non-conductive fluids out there to use, but many of them are toxic when they leak.

Most leaks are catastrophic in nature - I.E. you fry something expensive.

Then, in this application, there's noise. How loud is that pump? Most pumps put out more noise than fans do as most this size don't run with bearings - pumps this size with bearings get expensive because small bearings are expensive to manufacture.

As far as the window and the black lights are concerned, I'm much more interested in what's happening on the screen than inside the case. Seems like a lot of work for something that's going to probably end up under a desk.

I'd be interested in seeing someone building a desk from the ground up with a glass top that has all of the components within it except the screen, keyboard, and mouse..... You can look through the glass top to see the components.... Now THAT would be a neat case mod.....

One thing I'd love to see is someone putting out a PCI card with a bank of relays on it that you can program similar to an X-10 device, but a lot cheaper. Still haven't found anything like that out there.
