Go to <Control Panel>, then <Add/Remove Programs>, under the <Install/Uninstall> tab, select <Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 and Internet Tools>. Then just click <Add/Remove>.
Then just go to MSFT's download site to d/l and reinstall IE6.

ok, well I did uninstall ie 6...but unfortunately my problem remains..
takes 2-3 mins for outlook express to load and it freezes up for 2-3 mins when i want to type something in a text box.
i have tried antivirus scan, scan disk, defragged, windows washer, uninstall ie 6.0
i really don't want to reinstall windows 2000.
hrmm you think i could uninstall ie completely? or would there be a stopping point where u can't uninstall ?
oh btw i'm using k-melon browser to type messages here. :D

IMO, Express is not all that good. Do you have Outlook 2000 cause that is much more easier to setup and repair when it does choke.
