I need some help re a customer of mine who wishes to install Mandrake 8.1 on a 1600XP AMD based system with a Cardexpert twin ViVo ( Dual head) geforce2 MX400 32MB video card,
This card allows for video out and video in for capture, no problem if useing MS based OS but he wishes to use Mandrake 8.1

I have tried the websites, but can't find any driver that allows Video out to RCA or Video S and Video in from RCA or Video S, as I am registered as a MS system Biulder I don't have much knowledge of Linux ( mainly due to the agreement with MS that prevents me selling systems with Linux installed.)

Any one out there who has done this install, please any help with finding drivers would be greatly appreciated.

Bump as I'm no linux guru either as I'm a MS man too :)

The only thing I can suggest is that you might try is holler over at the Mandrake website in their support and see what they suggest or even if linux will support what your user wants to do with it.

I've posted your problem under my username HERE (http://mandrakeexpert.com/index1.php?tab=paid&act=view&incident=6818&w=0), that way I'll be keeping tabs on it and you can too.

Does this customer have a certain time/day that this needs to be completed or worked out?
I'm still searching the net, will keep you posted.

Many thanks Jad will check them out, after seeing some of the prices for the dual heads over here, the Cardex one seem to have a lot going for it, if I can find the Linux for it will probably make it a regular item in my systems.

As customer went to an auction and bought himself a Complete system he no longer requires the drivers, but I am now thinking of biulding a system with one of these cards for myself, soI still need to find the driver.
